While isolation exercises are a staple in most women’s training routines, it’s critical to also incorporate the basic compound movements! Exercises such as deadlifts, squats, chin ups and push ups are beneficial for MANY reasons. They burn more calories, they improve coordination and balance, they keep your heart rate up which has cardiovascular benefits and they allow you to lift heavier and thus become stronger!
